When Adam and Eve fell from grace, humanity lost its ability to love perfectly. Consequently, our ability to communicate to each other suffered as well. In today’s world we judge a person by the clothes they wear and unless we spend time with them, it is very hard to love them. Adam and Eve were the first humans to experience perfect communication. In Part I of this series we identified that they shared everything with each other and were in perfect communion. The nakedness of their bodies showed that they had nothing to hide and accepted each other completely. But as we know all too well, paradise didn’t last long. Continue reading

Ever wonder why God made Adam and Eve naked? I initially, cynically, thought that God turned ‘off’ the shame in their brains and that they were more like children than adults. I left that question alone because I didn’t think it really mattered to living everyday life. Yeah so Adam and Eve really screwed over the human race and they started wearing clothes, what’s the big deal?
